Description: Rare Nellie Fox Wilson sporting goods advertising display piece c.1950s-60s. Large 20"x28" die cut cardboard advertising display featuring a three dimensional die cut of Nellie Fox leaping for a ball. The sign is remarkably well preserved given its original fragility with a light stain at the bottom left, small tape repair to a tab at the bottom edge, and a tape repair to the very tip of Fox's extended foot. The cardboard retractable "spring" behind the Fox figure has been reinforced with some tape. First example that we have seen offered at auction: EX-EX/MT
