Description: Vintage red and black stitched baseball attributed to being the last out ball from the 1914 World Series. Major League quality baseball with heavy game usage wear has numerous period black ink notations regarding Harry Gowdy, who was regarded as the hero of the 1914 Series for the Miracle Braves. The notation "Property of " appears on a side panel with an applied paper label listing Gowdy's address. The names of the players on the Braves are noted on the other panels along with "...Last Out Ball Presented To Harry Gowdy Hero Of Series".
