Description: Joe DiMaggio photograph by George Burke c.1937. 4"x6" image with beautiful contrasting tones is one of the more famed images ever taken of the Yankee Clipper. Picturing DiMaggio standing with a bat, this photo is one of only two examples found in the collection. Reverse is stamped by Burke and contains a few handwritten notations regarding the date, which were possibly written by DiMaggio. Includes letter of provenance from the DiMaggio family: EX-MT
