Description: Rare 1968 Bill Mazeroski Pittsburgh Pirates road jersey. Attractive grey flannel vest style jersey worn by Hall of Fame member Bill Mazeroski remains in original unaltered condition with "Pirates" team name across the front and #9 on both front and back. Spalding tag is affixed to the tail front with size 42 tag and "Mazeroski" chain stitched in black. Dry clean tag with "Set 1 1968" flag tag are also on the tail front. The jersey exhibits perfect usage characteristics including appropriate wear to the piping and some typical surface wear. Maz was one of the finest fielding second baseman to ever play the game and will be forever remembered for his classic walk off home run in the final game of the 1960 World Series which gave the Pirates the World Championship over the New York Yankees.
