Description: Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe wedding present c.1954. Vintage Hakata porcelain figurine remains in its original Hakata shipping box from 1954. The figurine was a wedding gift to Joe and Marilyn from La Verne and Buddie McGrath. The figurine measures 11" tall and remains in pristine original condition. Box itself has some age wear incl. soiling and tears to the top edges. The gift remains virtually untouched after 50 years and includes the original Hakata Doll Co. paperwork along with the original wedding card from the McGrath's. A 1954 black and white 8"x10" photo taken on the Oriental Tour of Marilyn and Joe is also included: Figurine: NM, Box: VG
