Description: 1937 Joe DiMaggio and Lou Gehrig photograph. Sepia tone 7"x9" photo of Lou Gehrig jumping over a baseball bat held by Joe DiMaggio. The photo was taken during Spring Training in St. Petersburg, FL after both Gehrig and DiMaggio had signed new contracts. The image is a well known view of the two Yankee Sluggers and retains fine contrast and clarity with some surface wrinkles at the right side. There is a small reddish line in the background area due to ink from a date stamp on the back of the photo: VG-EX
