Description: 1950 Joe DiMaggio All-America "50 Year Baseball Team" certificate of merit. Large 12"x17" presentational certificate awarded to Joe DiMaggio as a member of "Baseball's Greatest Lineup" from 1900-1950. Certificate is signed by (12) members of the All-America Board incl. Connie Mack and Christy Walsh. The signatures range from 9-10 out of 10 with the award itself remaining in pristine original condition within its original folio labeled to Joe DiMaggio. Includes DiMaggio's original presentational program from the banquet housed in a black leather portfolio with "JD" monogrammed on the front in gilt lettering. The portfolio has some moisture exposure but program remains very clean. The lot also includes a sepia tone photo of Connie Mack and Joe DiMaggio and a period Dispatch News Service ID sheet relating to the meeting.
