Description: Lot of vintage Joe DiMaggio related materials with relation to J.Edgar Hoover c.1950s. Includes J.Edgar Hoover auto. typed letter sent to DiMaggio in 1955 in congratulation of his HOF induction. Signed, "J.Edgar Hoover" in blue ink; includes its original envelope addressed to DiMaggio: EX-MT; Vintage sepia tone photograph of Hoover and DiMaggio in its original Stork Club folio c.1950s, 8"x10": EX-MT; Several FBI/Hoover related paper items incl. (2) FBI manuals and (2) typewritten transcripts from speeches given to the Boys Club of America by Hoover: EX-MT; and an unusual 34"x43" paper shooting range target that had been used for target parctice by Joe DiMaggio Jr. in 1951 and was then sent to Joe DiMaggio. Signed at the bottom by Hoover and FBI agent E.H. Bahlow Jr each with salutations: EX. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication (autographs).
