Description: Joe DiMaggio game worn baseball cleats c.1968-69. Pair of Wilson black leather cleats as worn by Joe while coaching with the Oakland Athletics in 1968-69. Cleats exhibit evident usage retaining Wilson tagging on the interior tongue of each shoe. "5" written in period black marker near the tagging on both cleats: EX. Also included is Oakland Athletics professional model hat c.1968-69. Hat retains its original McAuliffe tagging on the interior headband along with original cardboard form: NM. The lot includes a vintage color photograph from the DiMaggio collection picturing Joe wearing the offered cleats. Very rare pair of vintage DiMaggio game worn cleats with unimprovable provenance and photo documentation. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions, Inc.
