Description: Joe DiMaggio's personal copies of Time Magazine for which he appeared on the front covers. Pair includes Oct. 4, 1948 issue depicting an inset portrait of DiMaggio superimposed over Yankee Stadium and the iconic issue dated Jul 13, 1936 of a rookie DiMaggio in full swing. Each magazine has some handling wear and the 1936 issue has a small tear at the top of one of the interior pages. The fact that DiMaggio's Major League debut only pre-dated the cover of the 1936 issue by a few months stands as a testament to the immediate impact he had on the game of baseball: Range VG/EX-EX
