The photo has been signed at the lower left corner area, "Best Wishes Marilyn Monroe DiMaggio" in blue ink. Signature rates 9-10 out of 10 remaining very bold and pronounced. The signature's attribution is somewhat of a mystery, as portions match the handwriting styles of Marilyn, Marie DiMaggio & even Joe. Although the signature is likely secretarial, it is important to note that very few confirmed autograph examples of "Marilyn Monroe DiMaggio" exist and all differ widely.
