Description: Joe DiMaggio original painting by Vincenzo Zenone c.1961. Abstract style watercolor and charcoal rendering of DiMaggio autographing a baseball in Yankee uniform. 18"x22" in its original matting and framed with applied placard to the mount, "To My Friend Joe, 'the greatest' Vince Zenone". Zenone is a fairly prolific artist who is best known for his watercolors, including a street scene which was purchased by Raymond Weill, who used the artwork for his advertisements in the New Yorker magazine: EX-MT
