Description: 1976 Joe DiMaggio Touchdown Club Baseball Athlete of the Century figural trophy. Very high quality figural trophy titled the "Timmie Award" features a large silverplated football player running with a football atop a black painted wooden base. Front of the base has several applied placards including football shaped "Touchdown Club of Washington D.C." emblem and placard inscribed to DiMaggio. 16รถ in total height, trophy remains in very clean overall condition. The Touchdown Club awards are among the more prestigious of their type with recipients including Johnny Unitas, Wilt Chamberlain, and George Halas. Includes an unrelated group of paper materials from the Touchdown Club c.1968 as sent to Joe DiMaggio: EX-MT
