Description: Rare Robin Roberts Phila. Phillies professional model hat c.1950s-60s. Phillies red hat with embroidered white "P" on the front was worn by HOF'er Robin Roberts. Retains original Wilson tag on the interior headband and has "36" written in vintage black marker under the bill. Roberts also signed the hat in blue marker under the bill. The hat exhibits evident usage incl. interior perspiration staining which also bleeds through to the exterior forehead area. The interior of the bill is not cracked but has warped slightly from age although it appears that could be corrected if so desired. This is the first Roberts game hat that we have encountered.
