Description: Rare Hughie Jennings Tuxedo Tobacco advertising display sign c.1910-15. Color lithographic cardboard display measures 11"x21" matted and framed picturing the Detroit Tigers manager Hughie Jennings advertising Tuxedo tobacco. The sign retains its original pastel colors and features Jennings' famous "Ee-Yah" quotation. The sign has had some minor restoration with inpainting to the top left and right corner areas and to a small chip at the top edge. One of only a handful of documented examples of this tough early tobacco advertising display: EX (with note to restoration)
