Description: Rare Yogi Berra professional model catcher's mitt c.1960s. Spalding model #42-707 RHT glove features "Larry Yogi Berra" facsimile signature in the palm area. The glove exhibits good usage incl. pocket wear and flexibility. Back of the glove retains its original Spalding tag (c.1957-70) and has "BERRA 8" written in period ink on the left side. Berra is without question one of the most notable figures in baseball history. In addition to his HOF career on the field, Yogi is fondly known for his famed sayings such as "it ain't over 'til its over". The offered glove was obtained by Joe Pignatano directly from Yogi and is being offered for the first time publicly.
