Description: Roberto Clemente professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 36" and weighs 35.8oz. Bat exhibits excellent usage incl. repaired handle crack (professionally done, visible at close inspection), cleat marks, ball marks, and rack marks. G105 is stamped on the knob end. Clemente gave the bat directly to the consignor after breaking the bat on a ground ball to the shortstop during a game. The bat was retrieved by the catcher who then gave it to Clemente. On his way back to the dugout the consignor asked him for the bat and Clemente obliged. Fine example from Clemente's prime playing era with impeccable provenance.
