Description: Rare Earl Averill professional model baseball bat c.1934-35. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35 1/2" long and weighs 38oz. The bat exhibits evident usage including ball marks, cleat marks, and a slight fissure on the back of the barrel. Averill game used bats are among the toughest of all HOF'ers from the 1930-40's with less then (10) known to exist. The bat was acquired along with the Trosky bat by the family of the consignor and is being offered for the first time publicly. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions,Inc.: EX
