Description: Scarce Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, and Mickey Mantle auto. baseball. Lightly toned Harridge AL ball c.1931-34 has been signed by the four greatest players in New York Yankee history. Ruth signed the sweet spot in black fountain pen and Gehrig on a side panel, also in black ink. Each signature has a small degree of age fading rating 6/7 out of 10. DiMaggio and Mantle signed the adjoining two side panels with each signature rating 8 out of 10. Based upon signature style and ink characteristics, we believe the latter signatures were obtained in the 1960's. No greater combination of Yankee players could have signed a baseball. The cumulative lifetime statistics of these four immortals read as if they were fiction: 31,323 at bats, 10,223 hits, 7,247 runs batted in, and a staggering 2,104 home runs.
