Description: Rare Yale baseball decorated stoneware jug c. 1880-1900. Very attractive three handled stoneware vessel having incised baseball decoration on the front with crossed bats and catcher's mask. Back has Yale school insignia on two panels. Sizeable 8" tall piece is the first of its type that we have encountered remaining very clean with no repairs or notable damage. Exceptional piece of baseball related decorative stoneware: EX-MT
