Description: Mike Schmidt Phila. Phillies road jersey c.1988. Blue knit jersey retains original "P" logo on front along with #20. Back has "Schmidt" nameplate above the original #20 with Phillies logo patch on left shoulder. Rawlings tag remains inside the collar along with "Schmidt" strip tag. Shirt exhibits appropriate general/wash wear including a few grass stains and has been signed by Schmidt on the front in black sharpie marker. The lot also includes a pair of 1988 Phillies matching road pants which were issued to #40 but were possibly worn by Schmidt as they have a handwritten #20 in black marker written inside the waistband. From the mid 1970's through the 1980's era there was no finer all around player then Mike Schmidt. His multiple home run titles and Gold Glove awards easily place him among the finest third basemen to ever play the game.
