Description: 1997 Scott Rolen Phila. Phillies rookie home jersey along with batting helmet and cleats. White knit shirt with red pinstripes from Rolen's NL Rookie of the Year season retaining its original team name on front and "Rolen" name on back. #17 on back has been signed by Rolen with 1997 ROY notation. Russell Athletic tag and additional size tags remain on tail front; left and right sleeves have 1997 Jackie Robinson Anniv. patch and Richie Ashburn memorial armband (rare) respectively. Jersey exhibits evident usage incl. some light grass staining to the back of one shoulder. Lot also includes Rolen game used Phillies batting helmet (missing small piece on the back edge) and cleats, each of which has been signed by Rolen and has #17 written (cleats) or labeled (helmet). Dating of the helmet and cleats appears to be late 1990's. Fine assemblage of items from the premier defensive third baseman in the game today. Includes LOA from SCD Authentic (equipment) and James Spence Authentication (autographs): Range EX-EX/MT
