Description: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Earle Combs auto. baseball with photographic provenance. Off white and slightly toned Barnard AL ball signed by Ruth, Gehrig, and Combs. The signatures range from 8-9 out of 10 with Ruth occupying the sweet spot. Ball was obtained (along with three other identical examples!) in 1931 at Spring Training in St. Petersburg, FL by Ms. Caroline Coddington. Included with the baseball is the original Barnard AL ball box and an incredible period image of Ms. Coddington standing with Babe Ruth as he signs the ball! Very fine Ruth and Gehrig signed baseball with unimproveable photographic provenance. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: Ball: EX, Signatures: Range EX/MT-NM
