Description: Large format photograph of Ty Cobb sliding c.1915. Oversized 10"x12" sepia tone original image of Cobb sliding into base "spikes high" in full Detroit uniform. Image retains excellent clarity and contrast with edge wear incl. chipping and some small tears. Photo originated from Ty Cobb by way of his secretary along with other Cobb items and includes a letter of provenance as such: EX (With note to edge wear)
