Description: Fine Imperial size 1912 New York Giants team photograph. Mounted image of the NL Champion New York Giants posed in two rows at the Polo Grounds wearing their Mackinaw sweaters. Players include Mathewson, W.Robinson, Marquard, McGraw, Merkle, Snodgrass, and Meyers. Titled at the bottom, "Photograph Taken April 19th, 1912 at the Polo Grounds New York City". Similar white lettering title at top, "The New York Giants in Patrick Duluth Mackinaws Cloth & Garment Made in Duluth Accepted as Part of the Giants' Regular Uniform". The inscription seems to indicate that this was the original image used to create a period advertising piece for Duluth Mackinaw sweaters. Image has a repaired crack to the bottom right corner and corner chip at top right. Very appealing photograph in that the view is not similar to the typical images that are generally seen for this team: EX (With note to crack restoration)
