Description: Eric McNair presentational kimono from the 1934 U.S. All-Star Tour of Japan. Silk two sided kimono with traditional Oriental dTcor incl. a volcano and floral symbols. Interior lining features gilt inscription, "Welcome. The Invincible Base Ball Team! In your Memory of Coming To Nippon Yours Dearly Salon -Haru, Tokyo 1934". It was well documented that the U.S. players were treated like royalty while on the Tour and bestowed with numerous gifts such as the offered item.
