Beautiful period oversized image of the Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox "City Series" game played at South Side Park before a crowd of over 20,000 fans. Notably crisp image pictures the two teams in game play with thousands of fans looking on and in a few cases peering directly into the camera. Titled at the bottom in white and marked Geo. Lawrence photographer, Chicago. Overall size is 12" x30" matted and framed, image has some restoration to a few punctures on left side and some abrasions at the top right in the sky area. Very attractive period image which places the viewer into the stands: VG
