Description: Rare 1962 Houston Colt 45's road uniform. Grey flannel shirt features team name on front and 1965 Astros logo patch on left sleeve. #53 on back is a minor league replacement for the original #3 which was worn by coach Bobby Bragan. Strip tag remains in neck with "44 3 62" and Spalding size 44 tag is affixed to tail front. Dry clean and "Set 1 1962" tag remain inside tail. Jersey exhibits nice usage wear with some toning around the collar and some very light "thinning to the shoulders. Missing one button. Includes pair of matching 1962 Astros pants issued to #26 Johnny Temple and pair of original Astros socks one of which has #23. Fine inaugural year ensemble of a popular team style.
