Description: Mickey Mantle auto. 1981 New York Yankees coaches jersey. Classic Yankee pinstriped knit shirt with #7 on back retains McAuliffe Uniform Co. tag on tail front along with "1981" and size "44" tagging. Mantle has signed the front in bold blue sharpie rating 9 out of 10. The jersey was worn by Mantle as a Yankee coach/advisor during the 1981 Spring Training season and then subsequently sold through the Danny MacFayden Foundation charity. Includes a typewritten letter of provenance by the MacFayden Foundation that states "The 1981 New York Yankees Uniform (#7, McAuliffe Manufacturing) in your possession is my authentic shirt that I wore in spring training. I autographed this uniform for you. Sincerely, Mickey Mantle". In addition to signing the letter in blue ink Mantle notated above "To the Best of My Knowledge!". Fine Mantle worn Yankees jersey with impeccable provenance and first person authentication.
