Description: Lot of manuscripts and typewritten speeches with relation to Branch Rickey c.1950. Body of typewritten materials apparently written by Rickey for usage in a book and/or speeches. Includes a multi page typed draft of a letter to Mr. Bob Cobb regarding the 1964 Cardinals team in which Rickey blasts the handling of the team inclusive of its ownership, the Busch family. The draft includes numerous handwritten corrections by Rickey and is signed, "Sincerely Branch Rickey" in ink on the final page. Interesting grouping of personal materials from one of the more highly regarded executives in baseball history. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad (autograph): Range VG-EX/MT
