Description: Fine Honus Wagner single signature baseball c. 1937. Toned Frick NL ball with light soiling signed in very bold black ink , “To Chess and Irene from Honus Wagner”. Signature rates a 10 out of 10 and is in original as signed condition. Accompanied by a 3”x5” photo of Wagner hunting with several men incl. “Chess” which is also signed in black ink by Wagner. Wagner was a family acquaintance and often visited the farm in Western,PA. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the family: Ball: EX, Signature: NM-MT
