Description: Rare New York Yankees stadium banner c.1950-60's. Navy blue satin hanging banner measures 45"x95" with large white embroidered team name on front. Very regal display piece in the manner of the Yankees organization retaining the original white fringe appointments at the bottom edge. Has a few minor areas of staining to the lettering that could be cleaned if so desired. Obtained by the consignor directly from the stadium demolition firm in the 1970's: EX-EX/MT
