Description: Harry Wright's personal scorebook for games played October 3, 1883-October 20, 1883. Bound "Harry Wright's Pocket Base Ball Score Book No. 2" as published by Harry Wright having (13) games scored on the interior by Harry Wright himself. Vast majority of the games involve the 1883 Providence Grays with all but three games scored in full. Both Providence and opposing teams featured numerous star players such as Radbourn, Hines, Stovey, McPhee, and Mullane. On one of the score sheets Wright has printed his initials "HW" in the scorer's box. Back cover has a color lithographic baseball scorecard scene attached. Rare early baseball scorebook of notable significance as belonging to baseball pioneer Harry Wright. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad: EX
