Description: Scarce Hal Chase auto. envelope. Postmarked 1945 envelope addressed in Hal Chase's hand including the return address in which he has signed his name. Bold blue ink has remained in near original condition rating 9 out of 10. Envelope has been opened on right edge and as such is missing a small portion. Chase was a fine player for many years and was banned from baseball after a fifteen year career. Signature is rarely offered as he died in relative obscurity in 1947. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad: EX-MT
