Description: Scarce Tony Lazzeri auto. photograph. Sepia tone 8"x10" photo of Lazzeri fielding a ball signed, "Best Wishes From Tony Lazzeri" in blue ink. Signature and salutation rate 8 out of 10, image remains clean overall with an abrasion on the reverse that has left a light impression on the front and has very slightly split along two edges. Lazzeri died in 1946 at the age of 43 and is among the most desired signature of the 1920-30's era Yankees players to obtain. This is the first Lazzeri signed photograph that we have encountered.
