Description: Collection of (15) Pittsburgh Pirates cabinet mounted photographs by Carl Horner c.1903. Once part of an original Carl Horner Pittsburgh Pirates photographic montage the offered group includes (3) 4"x5 1/2" mounted player images, (11) 3 1/2"x5" oval mounted player images, and 5 1/2"x7 1/2" mounted image of Fred Clarke. Each player is identified in period calligraphic lettering under their respective image on the mount. Players include Phillippe, Leach, Sebring, and Beaumont. Original Carl Horner photographic display pieces are exceedingly rare and were among Horner's most expensive pieces offered in the period. Mounts remain fairly clean with some offcut edges, several of the images have some light staining: Range VG-EX/MT
