Description: Superb Babe Ruth photograph attributed to Paul Thompson c.1920. One of the most revered early 1920's images of Ruth seated in the dugout in Yankee pinstripes. Ruth appears young and powerful as he awaits his turn at the bat. Image measures 8"x10" with small white border and stamping on back from the Photographer & Press Bureau, Inc. Photo also has a period paper label on the back titled "Babe Ruth-in the Dugout" which is identical in style to those of identified Paul Thompson images.
