Description: Significant June 13, 1948 ticket stub and related paper items from Babe Ruth's final appearance at Yankee Stadium. Whitey Witt's personal ticket stub issued for a game between the Yankees and Indians where Babe Ruth made his final appearance and had his uniform retired. Ticket was for box seats and has two repaired tears on back side. Lot also includes several scrapbook pages from Witt including news photos and articles from the day along with a period typewritten account of the events by Witt with some stirring commentary.
