Description: Rube Walberg's 1930 World Series presentational pocket watch. Fine 14K gold pocket watch by J.E. Caldwell, Phila. having "WORLDSCHAMPS" encircling the watch face and an elephant mascot with blue "1930" on side. Back of watch is even more impressive having a full portrait engraving of Walberg in A's uniform. Watch face has some surface wear, otherwise very clean retaining its original box. Includes letter of provenance from the Walberg family and a period newspaper article detailing that there were only (11) of these watches made for those players who selected them as their prize: EX-MT : EX
