Description: Rare Jimmie Foxx Hood Shoes triptych advertising display c.1930's. Large three panel cardboard display sign measures 22"x36" advertising Hood athletic shoes. Left side features two images of Jimmie Foxx including an action scene. Right side pictures Lawson Roberson U.S. Olympic head coach and a track stadium photo. Includes original shoe display stand which also supports the main display. Sign retains nice overall color with some largely cosmetic restoration incl. a few inpainted abrasions, repaired corner chip at lower left, and joint reinforcement at fold lines. We had not previously encountered this rare advertising display with uncommon Foxx subject matter: EX (With note to restoration)
