Description: Philadelphia Athletics road uniform c.1930-40's. Grey flannel jersey retains original "A" on front, missing original #7 on the back. Mitchell & Ness tag remains inside collar with size 40 tag, name and year tag has been removed. Includes a pair of period unmarked grey flannel pants which accompany the jersey. Lot also includes the original blue and gray wool socks. Several players wore the number 7 during the noted dating including George Kell from 1944-46 and the jersey having no sun collar could certainly date from that period.
