Description: Fine 1965 Harmon Killebrew Minnesota Twins road jersey. Grey flannel shirt from the Twins first World Series season retains original Twins team name across chest and #3 on reverse. "Killebrew" chain stitched on strip tag inside collar, Spalding tag w/size 44 flag tag is on tail front along with "Killebrew 3 44 65" chain stitched into the tail. Jersey also retains its original Twins logo patch on left sleeve. The jersey originated from a player who had received it while playing in the Minor Leagues. At that point the original number three was moved to the right and a "4" was added to make #43. The "4" has since been removed and the original #3 was relocated back to its original position. After eleven tough seasons with the Senators and Twins (as a team) Killebrew led the Twins into the World Series for the first time in 1965.
