Candid 6 1/2"x9 1/2" b&w image of Mantle seated at his locker with #6 Yankee jersey hanging (rookie year number) originated from Mantle's personal photo album. Stamped on back by Life magazine photographer Hy Peskin, unclear as to whether the date on back was the publishing date or photo date as Mantle played in his first Major League game on April 18, 1951. Includes copy of the original Mantle family LOA: NM
