Description: Rare Jack Burns St. Louis Browns complete home uniform c.1931-32. Heavy stock cream flannel jersey with original gold braid piping and sun collar having original intertwined "SL" on left sleeve. Back retains original #2, Spalding tag remains inside collar with "Burns" chain stitched in red. Matching pants have Spalding tag inside waist band along with "Burns" chain stitched in red. Pants have been trimmed at bottom cuff and have several period team repairs. Lot also includes pair of Spalding wool stockings. Complete and all original uniforms from thie era are virtually non existent, one of the gems in this significant find of vintage Browns jerseys.
