Description: Carl Furillo game worn baseball glove c.1940's. Rawlings Lonny Frey signature model glove with rare rolled top spider style webbing associated with the very best quality gloves made by Rawlings at that time. Glove exhibits heavy usage wear with some checking from dryness on palm and back strap, lacings through top of fingers has heavy wear and although period is not original. Originated from former Dodgers' batboy Stan Strull and was given the glove directly by Carl Furillo at the end of the season in the late 1940's. Includes letter of provenance from Stan Strull, LOA from SCD Authentic David Bushing/Dan Knoll, and photo of Furillo wearing a similar (if not the actual) glove: VG
