Description: Rare George Senesky Phila. Warriors sponsored NBA barnstorming uniform c.1948-50. Cream color Durene style jersey with impressed "Phila" on front surrounded by (8) red stars. Original impressed #8 remains on back and "Oliver Bros.,Phila" tag is in collar. Includes red and white striped satin shorts with original belt. Shorts retain early 1950's Wilson tag inside waist and are identical to Harlem Globetrotters trunks of the same era. Most likely were Globetrotters 'extras' due to close relationship between Gottlieb and Abe Saperstein. Uniform remains very clean overall with some slight age toning and typical crazing to letters/numbers. Scarce early uniform style from an original NBA franchise.
