Description: Rare John L. Sullivan painted tin advertising sign c. 1910. Large color sign measures 17"x23" advertising "Hohenadel Beer" picturing Sullivan in his classic boxing pose. Clean overall example for its' issue, has some light paint chipping mostly in the background and some general light age wear incl. a few dings to the edges. Marked "American Art Works Inc." on the original backboard: EX
