Description: Red Grange children's doll c.1930's. Without question the offered example is the finest that we have encountered featuring all original composition head lacking the normal paint flaking and surface damage that is often found on this doll. Body retains original red linen uniform with #77 on front and lace up gold football pants. Composition hands are intact and clean, original black cleats remain intact as well with all cleats on soles present. Sterling Doll Co. stamped on back of neck, doll also retains original white felt football helmet with chin strap. This particular example took the second place ribbon in the 1992 United Federation of Doll Clubs Annual Exhibit and also includes a glass display cabinet: 30" total length: EX-MT
