Description: 1983 Wade Boggs Boston Red Sox home jersey. White knit jersey with original team name on front and #26 on reverse. Wilson size 42 tag remains in collar, "83" chain stitched on small tag on front of tail. Jersey shows light to moderate usage and wash wear incl. some fraying of piping on front and appropriate fading to Wilson tag. Boggs came into the Major Leagues as if he had been a ten year veteran batting over .300 for his first ten seasons. The offered shirt is from the 1983 season in which Boggs batted .361 to lead the American League. Includes LOA from David Bushing/Dan Knoll: EX
