Description: Walter Johnson and Christy Mathewson auto. display piece. Hand painted and decorated wooden baseball shaped wall plaque (21" diam.) having two baseballs suspended by brass hooks. First ball is Harridge AL ball with black ink Walter Johnson cut signature attached to sweet spot. Signature rates 7/8 out of 10: EX. The second ball is Giles NL ball having laminated cut signature of Christy Mathewson attached to sweet spot. Signature rates 8 out of 10: EX. Interesting vintage display piece relating to baseball's elite pitchers containing a very rare Mathewson autograph. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad.
